Belt filter press and tefsa belt press equipment is here. For wastewater engineering, a biosolids flocculant, or air-operated diaphragm pumps, we have what you need.
The belt filter presses are a basic element to consider when approaching the sludge dehydration process. The increase in use and the good results has also been due to the polymer development (organic flocculants) for the sludge conditioning. |
With our strong and robust construction in different materials, according needs and applications, and a low investment cost, Tefsa-USA offers a full efficient and high output sludge filtration with high dry content and minimum residual particles content in the filtrate.
Tefsa-USA through GrupTefsa also provides for an easier determination complete tests in our laboratory for the ideal machine and flocculant selection.

The belt filter principle is to press sludge between to endless and tensioned belts. The pressure increases gradually according the belts run through the rollers with decreasing diameter. With this movement the machine creates a shearing effect which gives benefit to better filtrate drainage.
The low energy consumption is one of the main advantages in these machines, besides their automatic and continuous operation, resulting in minimum surveillance work.

Main applications: industrial and municipal sludge, fiber products, inorganic material slurries, inorganic pigments, catalizators, resins and many others. For the different applications in the sludge filtration with belt presses, Tefsa has developed a complete product range of four (4) models: BS, OS, OSC, and MS. The four include their variations for a better adaptation to the specific application and client requirements on a case by case basis.
The belt filter presses are constructed in the best materials according the application (steel, galvanized steel, and stainless steel), have the best surface treatment by sand blasting process and then applying a special Epoxy paint, Rilsanated rollers and bearings as well as the best quality of belts in order to give a total guaranteed operation of the machine.
